    yes ,it's mine .
    the guy (autocar) that drove the gt3 said to us that the car is faster only for the cup-tyres and that the power is similar to the old 996gt3 because the new one is heavier then the 996 .

    Hmmm, that is a bit of a disappointment I guess.
    Tell me, your rims is a custom job, or not? I thought when you let them paint by porsche that they leave a part blank aluminium, or not? I think I like it much more completely black!

    Actually the 997 GT3 is 5 kg lighter than the last GT3. This is an amazing feat considering the extra technology and the fact that the base 997 is heavier than the base 996. I know that the fact sheet says 1395kg for the 997 GT3 vs. 1380kg for the 996 GT3. However, the 996 GT3 weight is w/o aircon, which weighs 20kg. Net, a 997 GT3 with aircon is 5kg lighter than a 996 GT3 with aircon.

    I like the center-exit exhaust, but dislike all the needless and superfluous bat-mobile styling tossed at the rear bumper. Don't tell me all those cluttery contours and ridges are "purely function". It's over-styled.

    Porsche used to be the Giorgio Armani of styling, simple, classic, powerful, beautiful...

    With the Turbo and the GT3, and these flying-nun bad-art rear wings, Porsche seems to be moving more towards a Bob Mackie slash P.Diddy sense of style.

    Blech....

    Wish you could buy a top-performance 911 without all the goofy styling clutter.

    Sergini,

    Also a huge fan of those rims, did you get them from the factory? I have the 19" standard set and was wondering if I could somehow have them treated or painted??

    The guy with the GT3 looks like Chris Harris... and that red GT3 looks like the one he's testing against an M6 in this week's Autocar.

    Gt3: superstar car, just cant dig the tail wing. Just my taste im afraid....

    Good to see those real life pics!!!

    I love the front of the GT3.... just have a hard time getting used to the rear spoiler.

    i am in love with the new GT3,the front of is just wonderfull but i dont like the red color in GT3..i prefer on in white,yellow or grey

    Sweeeeeeeet!

    This one was taken while i was at the factory May 12th picking up my car. Can't tell if it's the same car only thing would be if belts were yellow but i can't make them out.

    yes .it's the same car ....i saw an article from EVO Italy ,and the car has the same plate .

    thanks for my rims ! I paint them all in matt black like 997s prototypes .
    hope to buy the gt3 soon and will be : white with mattblack wheels ,red calipers and red belts ...monochromatic ! ahahaha
