    2007 Meteor Grey - Paint Sample Photo

    There has been a lot of speculation (and misinformation) about the new Meteor Grey color for 2007. I was able to obtain the formula from Glasurit and had a sample created. Here it is compared to Slate Grey (on the left).

    Looks like the slate gray is darker but still pretty close and I suppose seal grey will be the lightest?

    Some are saying that it's a new Meteor Grey,--not necessarily the same as the one from the 1980s.

    Slate is quite a bit darker but a similar tone. Meteor has more brown than Seal. It also has some yellow and a little Violet which may give it a slight hue on the actual vehicle... I believe the 1980's Meteor Grey had a slight Violet hue, as well.
