This comes from a different source, so maybe not quite accurate:
1. weight aprox. 50-60 kg below current 997 GT3 weight
2. PCCB may be a standard option but not known yet
3. power should be the same like on the GT3
CAUTION: the GT3 RS is not really intended for street driving only. Of course it is a fun car but it is more of a race car with street approval. For some people, this car may be too extreme. Definetely not a good daily driver.

With that being said.. i am SURE it will happen here inthe US.. someone.. hell I am sure more than a few will but the RS, thinking it'll be nice to own one then they will sell them soon after saying it's too harsh..
haha makes me laugh really.. most should already KNOW what the RS version of any 911 or Porsche for that matter will be like..I for one can't wait to see them here in the US..amd on the tracks.

Good news, though I can't remember I ever had complaints about the 996 gt3's sound! Somewhere, deep in my heart is a little voice telling me that those exhaust adaptations just to make it sound good are pimp my ride-like features... But that is only very deep in my heart, so don't bother

What KF actually meant is that the GT3 exhaust uses a similar "clap" system like the 997 Porsche Sport Exhaust. This is one of the reasons why the new 997 GT3 sounds much better than the "old" one.

I'm hoping the sound quality of the new GT3 is way better than on the 996 model. 996GT3 sounds cool enough, but its not that loud actually. When sitting inside, yes it's loud, but from the outside its OK basically, nice, but ...
Anybody know if the GT3 is louder than Carrera's with PSE???? I hope so
