    I think the clock is cool, but the mushroom shaped holder for it is not so attractive, imho...

    And no, it is not optional, you can't order sport chrono plus axtra ultima deluxe but withou that ugly wart. It still looks like a useless add-on to me... luckily, when I am finally able to afford a new 911, the clock will be gone already
    PS, isn't there one single aftermarket guy like bumperplugs that can remove the wart and put a fluent piece of whatever in the whole that was left for it?

    Does anyone know if the chrono is backlit like the other instruments when the lights are on? Mine is not and I just want to find out if my bulb is burned out. Never noticed before. Thanks.

    The dash just looks so much more fluid without it. It's also much more reminiscent of Porsche dashes of old without the wart. I'd get rid of it for sure - I think sport chrono would still work very well with a timer displayed on the dash and PCM screen.

    Only lights up if the chrono is activated--I've got mine stopped at 9.11 seconds for that reason. And it looks cool

    So did I. However, I catched it at 9.97 seconds. Good enough for me and not that obvious for everybody.
