    Bypass Sports Exhaust (XLF)

    Hello all,

    My buddy has a 996430S and they changed a fuse out to have the sports exhaust open all of the time. I am getting a 997110S and I would like to do the same. The dealer said they can "wire" it open. Is this possible and has anyone done this in the past. I'd like to do this mod myself but if the dealer is required then I guess I am stuck. Thanks for your help!

    unplug the brown plug at the top right of the engine. can't miss it. (wire goes off to the rt)

    Do you have a picture of this. Will this cause any lights to go on the dash? I spoke more to the dealer about this and he states that the exhaust is vacum driven. He states that over 2500 RMS the baffles close. Just wanted to get a better understanding of how this thing works!

    Disconnect the brown plug (electronic) and you will not lose vacuum. You can also search pse +mod and find everything you need on this topic. good luck.

    ps no warning lights either.

    Just out of interest as someone STILL waiting for PSE to come off back-order.

    What happens if you disconnect the brown plug if you still have a stock exhaust?
