I spent some time as a spectator in the late 70s / early 80s at this corner (races and public days). It was always entertaining. I even saw a bus with 30-40 people using the gras and damaging one of his wheels. It seemed to be so easy to be too fast at this corner using a car with about 30-40HP

Also the reason why they're currently removing 2 bumps before the jump at Flugplatz which unsettled the car.
Maybe if drivers would have a more "intelligent" chassis setup for their cars, this wouldn't be necessary. Many drivers believe that as low and as stiff as possible is the way to go. Then, they shouldn't be surprised.

But they're doing it not because of the Tourifahrer, but because the GT3 cars have become too fast, with some of them having a tendency to take off and fly into the spectators.
