    2014 Malaysian F1 Grand Prix at Sepang

    After an enjoyable race in Melbourne, I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

    Reliability affected Hamilton and Vettel badly in Melbourne ... I'm wondering who else will have a DNF in Sepang where heat and extreme humidity will take their toll mechanically ...

    Mercedes clearly has a pace advantage over the rest. Seems close between Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari with Williams and Force India close too.

    it will be key to earn points early on while other teams are faltering through unreliability ...

    Gotta tell you, I have lost great interest in F1. They really killed it with all these new silly rules and regulations which are simply placed to de throne RBR from 5 years of dominance. Also, the new engine sound very stupid and the appeal with all this KERS stuff is just lost for me. It's become like a circus. Sure F1 will claim it's for the betterment of the automotive industry as a whole, and claim environmental responsibility.. sad only that anyone with a brain can realize that the actual racing only accounts for 2% of the CO2 emissions created by the sport. What about adding more GPs to the calender every year so that 1000s of people and machine have to be shipped across the world. Also, if you are trying to advance the technology of autos, why not actually work on solving the issues? Hybrid is certainly going to go nowhere because we are still burning fossil fuels like it's the industrial revolution. my two cents regarding recent developments. I do not even watch the races live anymore...

    I still watch F1, but WEC has really grabbed my attention, even more so with Porsche's LMP1 entry.  I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to get as excited about F1 as I used to.  I have been looking forward to this season, but not with the excitement of past years.

     

    Sorry to steal your thread, Easy, haha!  I hope MB doesn't run away with this season like RB did in the past.  It's definitely a nice change of pace, though!  I hope Alonso and Raikkonen will be able to fight with the guys up front; they're confident in the car's potential.

    It's funny because I didn't think I would like this new F1, but I find myself slowly coming around to enjoying it.  Like most people, I don't think the cars sound correct, but it hasn't bothered me as much as I was expecting.

    I started watching WEC last year, and it was AWESOME.  They do so much to cater to the fans, as opposed to FOM, who only want money.  For example, the Prologue test at Paul Ricard last week had free admission for fans, and THOUSANDS showed up, not to mention the fact that races are broadcast live, for free, online.
