Re: OFFICIAL: 991 Turbo and Turbo S

Never driven above 240kph, and no desire to on public road. Too many thing can happen at these speeds especially other drivers who don't see you...
There is something about the CayenneTT and TTS hard to explain, it is fun to drive, more fun than the Panamera IMHO. But is has to do with "this SUV can do that???" feeling.
In the US, I wouldn't drive either above 240 kph. I already get afraid at much lower speed on the I-95 each time I'm in Florida. Left, right, one is fast, one is slow, the other even faster, pure chaos on five, six lanes.
Traffic/weather adaptation, a technically perfectly fit car and not loosing attention even for a fraction of a second are the secrets to a healthy high speed driving. It is difficult to explain. Those who drive at high speed over here usually know what they are doing and paying attention to the "other" traffic is of course mandatory. Not easy to understand for people who aren't used to that, I agree. Like I said, I get more afraid driving in the US, especially in the evening hours where people seem to drive as if there are no rules, no speed limits and no particular lanes. If I would put a German highway cop to check for traffic law violations in Florida, I think 50% of the drivers would loose their license within the first day.
