No Onur. I think I'm done with new Ferraris as the depreciation on them here is now simply too great. In spite of promising customers that they had learned their lesson of "dumping" too many 430 models on the UK market in 2008 to help out the factory when other markets were collapsing, FNE have done it once again with the 458 spider and sent far too many here. The Speciale will undoubtedly suffer the same sort of depreciation here as the 430 Scuderia did so it would be a car to keep long term or better still, buy used with low miles when the 458 successor comes out and owners switch to that model.
I'm having more fun with my Dinos in any case

Lain, I can relate. What makes it even more distressing is knowing that each time you take it for a drive the mileage only enhances the depreciation. I know all cars depreciate but with Ferrari's they are the leaders. The old days of driving a Ferrari for almost free are gone.
Some interesting notes about the Speciale, I noticed today while I was looking at the official website.
1- Dry weight of 1290 kg is "with optional equipment". What are they is unknown. I'm sure they include every carbon option and without Radio.
2- Speciale rides 10mm lower than Italia and 40mm higher than Challenge. (1203mm vs 1213mm vs 1163mm)
Recently, I lowered my Italia 20mm at front and 10mm at rear in order to improve handling and increase (-) camber and put Pirelli Trofeo R tires. More on this later.

Curious to see what that looks like, is that possible with standard suspension, or do you need aftermarket solutions for that?

And with your lowered Italia, do you care more about the front? Do you sometimes "need" a front lifter? :)
I don't want to ruin the topic so there is more info here:

I'm more careful with the lowered height but so far there is no problem where I regularly drive.

458 stock suspension is coilover so it is possible to lower the car as much as 35mm in front and 20-25mm at rear.
