Whoopsy:
Can someone try it in matte black? The glossy black just have too many damn reflections to see the car's lines.
That's what I was thinking. If I didn't know what the F70 looked like, I still wouldn't. Can't really see the details.
Ouch! Very impressive.
i am not showing off allright but the company I work for is working on this project and we are supplying a bunch of components to attach onto the carbon fiber body.
I can tell you that the colleagues of mine who went to Maranello were speechless...
Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else find the progression of aerodynamics on cars to be slightly, um, behind? I'm looking at the P1 and F70, and I see some similarities in terms of aerodynamic consideration. While perhaps it's just my ignorance of the topic, it looks pretty obvious the P1 and F70 are vastly superior in this department. I wonder why.
Are they sandbagging because they don't want to run out of strengths for new cars? Did their design tastes just not allow certain concepts back then?
Hi guys,
i started to read the post and maybe I missed something. If it is the case then please forgive me.
Through my job, i got an insinder information. Because of crash test failure, it seems they are obliged to redesign some portion of the car. Therefore the SOP would have been postpone to Oct. '13.

That is BIG news. Wonder where the failure is :)

"Ferrari LaFerrari goes off track - almost crash!!"
"During my visit at Maranello I filmed this loud LaFerrari testing at Fiorano Circuit, but suddenly something went wrong with the braking system and the car went off the track! Immediatly after the accident they covered it with a red cloth...other than that you can hear some loud noise from the v12 engine!" -- PHsteve

That thing is impressive. I'm still not very convinced about the front though, that pointy bit on the front just seems like an afterthought and not very useful. Black would be the best colour to hide that and bring th whole shape together. Sadly black would hide the rest of the gorgeous details.
