Re: OFFICIAL: 991 Turbo and Turbo S

    Super Darius:

The more i see pictures the more i like the white Turbo S....

Monday i will have an offer from my dealer, but i just know the answer, due the price it will start to make the offer i'm sure  for me will be too high...we will see.

Sure the idea to put on sale Turbo and TS at the same time, put in trouble who like me can afford a good Turbo but not a Turbo S specially now with this prices incerase. And take a Turbo now is like to have a CAR but the one you whant, try to undesrtand.

So,i think is not worth to buy a Turbo at 180.000 euros with a TS at 205.000 ,but 205.000 is too much for me today.

hope the GT3RS will have the right price...indecision or in a miracle of my dealer monday...

They will have depreciated a lot by the time the GT3 RS comes out I'm sure, so you'll have options. After all, GT3 is barely even out yet -- or isn't it?

The Turbos has nothing to do with any GT3RS model. The turbo had allways the largest depreciation and so will it be with these two 991 tt and tts.

    Something's just off.

Hope GT2 looks better than this.

And hopefully, the 991 GT2 is much lighter.

I just compared: the 991 turbo S is more than 200kg heavier than the 997 GT2RS. And it has 60 hp less. Not really an alternative, I would say. The 991 GT2 should be a great car - at least the 991GT3 suggests that Smiley

C'mon, you get much, much more in case of a 991 Turbo S compared to your GT2RS. You even get more than one car!
You'll have a Panamera inside, a Cayman from the front and a decent AMG-Merc from the rear. Smiley

    Interesting thoughts you have Smiley

Also, like to know what you think of the GT3.Smiley

Nick, I have no doubt that the GT3 is the far (!) better choice for the US. If at all, the turbo has its advantages at very high speeds (200kph+) - and you don't need that speed range in the US. You took the right choice Smiley

Ask for discounts at your dealers!!! I think its possible to ask for several %?

The information Kreso and RC gave us all the time are imho also only speculation and not hands on information, and how does it Kreso allways say: Period angry

Don't know what your problem is but thats a troll's comment if I ever heard one.

If you have better info then why don't you post it, otherwise zip it, they already post their info for the benefit of others to have on top ungrateful people like you posting such remarks dioscouraging them to do so anymore.

I am aware. I merely meant that if he thinks the turbo is too much now and is hoping that the GT3 RS is priced better, the turbo will certainly be affordable by the time the GT3 RS price is revealed.

Quick question, will the upcoming GT2 have the same h-power as the TurboS with rear-wheel drive or possibly more hp ?? Also, are we going to see a GT2-S Smiley

Does anybody know if the glass roof makes the car heavier?

Re: OFFICIAL: 991 Turbo and Turbo S

    Yes, it does.

    German 991 Turbo price list:

    http://files1.porsche.com/filestore.aspx/Porsche-Download.pdf?pool=germany&type=download&id=991-tu-catalogue-price&lang=none&filetype=default&version=57e00931-9dcb-494e-94fb-9d1f44faae4f

BTW, check out optional 20" Sport Classic wheels that are available in Black as well. Best wheels for new Turbo IMHO. There is a picture of thses wheels in black at page 70 of the price list.

Now... Regarding hints that were posted here from RC, ALDO and me, They came from P sources directly. 100% for sure. Those who do not belive in that do not need to follow rennteam.com any more. Period. Yes, little bit rude from me.

For all other that show great support for all efforts in providing the latest info and hints here on rennteam.... You ladies and gents are the best Porsche community on the web and I would love to meet in person most of you. Idea for RC and other moderators-lets make and rennteam meeting in late June/early July somewhere in south Germany(Munich area).

I am convinced it is the right car for me. My only concern is how harsh the ride will be. After riding in the car for a half hour under normal driving conditions I don't want a headache and not spill coffee all over myself.Smiley
