"Liri Farfus gets a taste of the Nordschleife..."
"As the wife of a BMW works driver you follow countless races closely, always hoping your husband puts in a great result, coming home without a scratch. However, Liri wanted to experience a lap of the Nordschleife by herself - and joined Augusto Farfus as a co-driver..."

They put up a nice show but do you guys really think that the wife of such a good/fast driver isn't used to such speeds and driving behavior? Or am I the only lucky guy on the planet whose wife actually doesn't say a peep when I drive like this? Nice video but I wouldn't believe everything I see in it, Liri Farfus certainly is used to this kind of driving.

How is he stopping in the dead middle of the track to get in and out of the car leisurely? This is all for show, and though she protests a lot, she sure keeps her composure. I think this video is more of an advertisement than anything else. I like the car, and envy the driver though.
You are a lucky man if your wife keeps quiet while you drive aggressively, RC...
She must be a real keeper. And very pretty besides.

Thank you. I think she was quite unaware of the dangers when she was young (driving with me as a co-passenger) but after 23 years of driving with me, I think she trusts me. Sometimes she even tells me to go faster, which is quite annoying because she usually says this when it just isn't possible (speed limit or dense traffic).
I do not drive aggressively, I did that when I was young(er). Nowadays, I drive very fast without a sweat, not even at the limit most of the time and I have to say that I enjoy driving much more because there is no pressure of any kind (ambition, pride or whatever). For me, driving fast is not a challenge anymore but an art, I am seeking more for perfection than outrunning others. Which is kind of more fun than I would have imagined.
The video has been clearly made for BMW advertisement purposes but I like it. It just doesn't seem to be very real to me.
