My U.S. dealer is already getting his 2013 allocations for the current model, and does not expect any new facelift cars to be available for sale until January 2014. If he is right, then facelift will be shown in Frankfurt in September 2013.
Frankfurt would also make sense but my bet is still on Shanghai...a gut feeling.
I would be the happiest person on earth if the facelift would be available 2012, delaying the delivery date is not a big problem since I still have my 997 Carrera GTS Cab until 11/2012 if I don't take the PTS in May.
The interesting part though is: A Panamera Turbo S facelift model will not be available from the start, it may take another 6-12 months before it is introduced. Waiting at least another 12 or 18 months for the facelift, no thanks.
I chose black with black front lights because it makes the car look slightly different. I hope the facelift won't be too radical, Porsche unfortunately has a history of p.ss.ng off customers with facelifts, the 996 is a very good example.
