    Wow!!!

    Re: Monster..

Lol bud , does that mod effect the warranty ..

    throt..

    Re: Monster..

    800 bhp - 0-60 in 2.9 secs - top speed is nearly 380 km/h...this is Formula 1 territory

Why can't Porsche build a car like this and call it 911 Turbo Ultra?

It'll kick the bottom of every car out there...including the most exotic....

    Just a thought!

    Re: Monster..

    good looking too!

    Re: Monster..

and may i present what the 997TT SHOULD'VE looked like

    Re: Monster..

still wish the turbo looked more similuar to this

    Re: Monster..

with the sport tec front bumper and the actual 997 TT rear bumper!

I bet one thing: this "monster" will never be streetlegal in this form in Germany and many other countries. But it is a very nice object of passion, very suitable for discussions like this one and of course a perfect advertisement for Sportec.

The question "why doesn't Porsche build such a car" is pretty weird, if you ask me. IF they build such a car which would need to be streetlegal in almost all countries worldwide, which would need to meet almost all emissions/safety laws worldwide, it would cost a fortune.
I'd say Bugatti Veyron territory, not really interesting for Porsche.

    Re: Monster..

At least Sportec got the side air vents right!

800HP may be a bit much for daily commuting.

    Re: Monster..

Those wheels rock. The 911 turbo used to be my dream car, but the 997TT styling is so disappointing. How can an aftermarket company come up with a CLEANER and MORE AGGRESSIVE look.

    Re: Monster..

I think that from a styling point of view, this car looks awesome (and perhaps that is what people are commenting about when asking why could Porsche not do this from the beginning).

Very nice find ,throt! Warranty, we don't need no stinkin warranty!

That's the ultimate 911? Love the look too!

    Re: Monster..

I like the wheels alot. I prefer the current GT2 look vents though, over the Sportec's. The backside of the wing looks a little "heavy" too, imo. But overall looks decent.

    Re: Monster..

The car looks hideous to me in almost every aspect. It is brutal but so lacking in cohesion that I just regard it as a 997 with boxes attached.

The performance figures make me smile though

    Re: Monster..

omg .... i think that I just dropped a load in my pants. That's the awesomest car I've ever seen.

    Re: Monster..

Does anyone know the color shown?

    Re: Monster..

sorry, IMO yuck, un-pimp my ride, i've seen VW bugs with 550hp big deal

see i dont know how you guys can think this is "pimped out" because IMO this looks less flashy than the actual 997 turbo

    Re: Monster..

I agree.. this is what I envisioned the 997 turbo to look like, and if it did I would probably be figuring out how to afford the dang thing..

    Re: Monster..

Don't like it, but I like the interior a lot!

I talked with the Sportec guys in Geneva and the car has been homologated in Switzerland, and he said it will be in many other countries including Germany.

As for the warranty, this is covered by Sportec as the car has a Sportec chassis number, and not a Porsche chassis number anymore.

With THAT power figure and top speed? I highly doubt it. Ask again, there will be a much lower power "homologated" model.

Perhaps, but I would settle even for 700-if it came with a 6-speed manual.

    I noticed too that it's a RWD-the ultimate GT2.
