Thanks very much Rossi!
No real surprises, the "spyshots" have done there work.
The rear looks beautiful, but I think they messed up the front.
I'll leave my final judging till I see it in real life, since pictures tend to exaggerate some design curves and hide others. However, the area around the blinker cluster looks a bit weird to me. Especially in the pic above, where the bumper seems to protrude a lot from the headlight cluster, and the headlight cluster itself looks like it is a bit bloated... well, we'll see! Thanks again for posting mate!

Thanks Rossi...!
...not shocked as 1997 when the 996 hs been presented...
....not excited as 2004 when the 997 made its debut....
Front looks okay, so a little messi around the turn indicators/LEDs...
Back also okay...so from pictures it looks as the 911 lost his awesome butt.
Let\s see in reality.
Anyway... first impression proofs my GTS choice!
Thanks for the preview. Not on porsche.com as yet!
I think anyone who likes the 997 will like the new model too.
A successful evolution although I expected some more bravery in the design. The rear looks more fresh than the front.
Interior looks very quality and up-market which is a good thing.

I don't like it but need to see closer live.
Too much luxury interior, seems to be an Audi. The tail lights, the rear sharp angle looks Aston M. Front grills don't match with the DRL lenses.
I prefer 997 latest design
Love the rear P O R S C H E badge.

Now you may know why I went for the 997 Carrera GTS but don't get me wrong, I love the new 991, it is a very nice evolution of the 911.
Why didn't Porsche go for a sportier and flatter design ? You will get the answer over the next 2-3 years...I guess.

Thanks Rossi.
The side looks gorgeous, the car looks more aggressive and sporty , as it looks lower .
The front ...... Horrible blinkers with ' chinese styling ' , unesserary angels , and I do not like the line that ends the front bumper . Surely 991.2 will fix that
But I'll reserve final judgment when I see it in the flesh.
The interior is too ' luxury' to me. I liked the minimalist interior of the past 911's better. never been a fan of big center consoles . Ok on a sedan or GT
The back is nice....just too much lettering.

So the 911 will become more of a GT and a new model between the 911 and 918 will be the sporty one ?

The 911 is not a GT. Just wait until you see the track performance figures compared to the 997 (which isn't quite slow on the track either).
I just said that there will be another sports car between the 911 and the 918 and it may give those satisfaction who are slightly disappointed with the 911 design (which I love by the way).

Not sure why the headlights needed to be disguised as they don't seem that much different from the 997. The exterior is evolutionary but not particularly inspiring IMHO. The interior may be of higher quality but it seems much more comfort/GT oriented than sports car.
