    As I mentioned before,there is a lot things in 991 that looks to be taken from Audi - tail lights,spoiler(A7),sunroof(S5)...... I kind'a like it,because Audi have really improved their products for the last 5 years,and I really like the NEW style of Audi.Anyway,its better than take style from VW.....

    wow... this is the clearest view of the rear lights so far I've seen.... seems there is a distance between the base of the lights to the bumper line... awesome!!

     

    Look at the right rear light and you get the real thing... Smiley

     

    Exactly as I told you - a frame, holistic as Audi is doing it. The vertical break-lines are just stickers, underneath is a holistic frame!

     Thats what I menat! just the inside is kind of "filled" like in an Audi A8! The other picture is not correct as you put those vertical breaks in between, you dont see them in the real deal.

     that looks great!  i hope it has that hollowed quality.

    (BMWs for years have had a 3-dimensional quality to their rear lights, right?)

    how would the rear engine lid open up on the cabriolet? looks like the top has to be open up to get to it/

    Today I had some talks with a "friend" and he mentioned that apparently the roundly shaped front light design isn't really...round. It seems that there has been a small change from the car I saw last year but he wouldn't go into details. The car from last year had front lights similar to the current 997, incl. the dynamic driving lights. 

    As soon as I get more details, I'll post them. Right now, I'm not sure if I should believe this "friend" or not but so far, everything he said was pretty accurate.

    I think they will be round after all. But not as round as 997's ones...

    By the way,I think placing the 918 light on 911 have no sence.The 918 it's a 917 "reborn" right? So,the 911 have nothing to do with 917....My point...

     Wow BLACKOCTOBER.... it seems you are a master of Photoshop. The integration of that light looks perfect. Even so - I dont like the end result! 

     @RC: funny that you stated today the front light issue. I just talked today to my friend which is working in Weisach and it sounds as he and your friend know each other and both want to send out the same message. He told me "you will be surprised about the front light" - whatever this says! 

    Hope they dont make the mistake again and going back from the round shape. A 911 needs them!

    Guys, give Porsche a break, they have to mess up a few details so they have things that can be corrected in 3-4 years for the 991 facelift. Smiley
