Eunice: thanks Eunice, I'll fiddle around! We really need a multiple quote feature
Pride: Thanks pride! how are you enjoying your M3?
John: Thanks John!
Porker: Thanks Porker, definitely. I'll take it to the track when the occasion arises, I use the Superleggera more for that though. I'm a bit weary of tracking a turbocharged car
Thank you slawekl!

I'm having good driving fun with the car. It is at 4500 km. I should write an update report.
Thank you for asking
I guess, you cannot find the time to drive yours

This is truly profound: “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” -- George Bernard Shaw
The moment I read this, I thought of the uncanny coincidence of how so many successful entrepreneurs have either not gone to university or have dropped out of college before graduating. They refuse to play by other people's rules. I guess that's where the element of unreasonableness comes in. And then I thought of moderate, urbane people who have been softened by the process of obtaining multiple degrees. They choose the path of least resistance and think carefully about every aspect of something before making any move but who may end up not making any dramatic difference in the world or to how other people live. I guess it's the old saying that it is men of action not men of words who shape our world.

ThanksProfound indeed.
The problems arise with those unreasonable men who don't realise that they are not being progressive but just counterproductively obstructive.
You are welcome ;) ....of course progress is not consensual :P
There is also a lot to be said for different degrees and their connection to the real world/industry !
Lats but not leats thank for the spec mike, look forward for pics and your experience behind the wheel :)

That'll look great in red with the red/black interior.
All my Porsches have been black/black. My last one I really wanted to be different and spec'd it (997 GT2) up in red with full red deviated stitching. Then at the last moment I lost my way, reverted to type and switched it back to black/black.........
The biggest problem is that dealers really discourage anyone from ordering interesting stuff. My daughter (aged 7) asked me yesterday whilst driving why there were no bright coloured cars. I had to tell her that when I was young people drove cars in bright blue/green/yellow/red etc, but now basically almost all cars are silver/grey/black. When I was last at Porsche we walked the whole production line and almost every car was grey/black/silver.
ha: Thanks friend! I hope you are keeping well
Anne: Thanks for the kind words Anne, I think your boyfriend's and my car are twins with one or two differences. Great spec
electrao: Thanks man, I can't wait!
J.Seven: Thanks J, I'm out of space as it is lol!
Guy: I like to have variety in the garage. So if I start to have too much in one colour - I will always alternate to spice things up. It's not an everyday car, so it is okay by me to look a bit crazy Just do it, you only live once!
Mike, many congrats! I wanted one too but my dealer just couldn't get another one. I think there are 3 coming into my country. I am onto my second GT3 in a month. I decided that I want to keep the GT3 for a long time to come so I am switching my clubsport spec for a luxo touring spec one with all the extended leather/alcantara options available. This frees me up to keep an eye out for one of the GT2 RS coming back on the market in the next couple of years. So you can tell I am green (red) with envy - in a nice way of course!

Thanks everybody, plenty photos and videos will definitely follow. Only problem is the car arrives while I'm on vacation after receiving the ETA. The earliest time I would be able to get photos would be after New Years
It will have to remain in the dealer's hands for 3 weeks while it awaits for my return.
