These are the Quattroruote-Turbo S times compared to this Turbo PDK:

So I don't think the Turbo S would be much faster to 300 km/h. Maybe 1,5 seconds.

actually no! if it took almost 1 sec till 260 when the speed increases very fast after that the the POWER will show the difference, i think 2,5 sec of difference.

Very interesting - these QR numbers are pretty much in line with the above data. That is: the above data should be quite accurate
Just out of curiousity: why do these guys always wear a racesuit and a helmet when doing high speed tests ? This is no racing, just normal driving.
I know it looks more dramatic but I do 290 kph (speedo) in my truck almost every day, listening to dance music.

Well, they've got to wear something if only so they won't get arrested for indecency.
Since that is the case and since they know that they'll be driving at high speeds in the course of their work, it does appear to make sense to wear the appropriate working clothes just in case things happen to go badly wrong.
Just now and again it really pays off.
