I originally ordered the two tone black/cream leather, but was a little concerned about the cream stitching getting grubby so went with the safe option (black) in the end.
Wasn't convinced by the look of the Spyder wheels, although nicer in the flesh than pictures its still a very flat design. The Turbo II wheels on the other hand look striking against the Basalt black.
Off to my OPC to pay for the car today. Organising insurance is proving to be a challange as non of the underwriters have the Turbo S in their model list yet

Hi mate,
Have you tried Porsche insurance ? You can get the number off the main website.
I use them and found them to be the most competitive on price. Also they include 3 track days a year, and windscreen replacement with the OPC (Not Autoglass !)
I hadn't but have now.

Thanks Conny, very nice indeed
I'm guessing my car will be pretty much broken in by the time I get home from Stuttgart, but then I have another 2 day wait for my dealer to PDI, Fit tracker, Vallet & Autoglym for final delivery next Friday
Two weeks ago I did a Car Control day at Porsche Silverstone in a Turbo S. I spent most of the time on the low fritcion surface, ice hill and kickplate with PTM off. The experience was amazing and I now feel far more confident about living with this 530bhp beast. It even made my 993Turbo seem sluggish

Congrats Conny!
Just, I must admit that I totally don't like RS Spider wheels. Turbo II wheels for me.
At first I thought so as well. But in the meantime I changed my mind a bit. The RS Spyder wheels look good in real, at least much better than in pictures. Combined with the yellow PCCB and at a car with the right exterior colour (basalt for example is nice), this is a great combo.

Sorry, I do not agree here. RS Spyder wheels look like an aftermarket intrusion to me.
For me Turbo S with Turbo II wheeels.

I agree with KresoF1
The RS Spyder wheels do look good but not cutting edge design. They were rendered dated-looking IMHO by the lovely, up-to-date look of the Turbo II wheels And IMO they do look very much like an aftermarket item.

I also like RS spyder wheels. They are good looking and lightweight.

When were ordering the Turbo S I also question whether I wanted the Spyder wheels. After some debate we decided to go with what was standard on the S including the Spyder wheels.
Last week when were considering trading in my wife's Turbo cab for the S cab which was at the dealer, both my wife and I thought the Spyder wheels looked a lot better than we anticipated. In person they seem to suit the car very well.

Of course everyone has their own taste.
But I've thought thoroughly about the RS Spyderwheels and the Turbo II wheels. Ultimately I decided on the Spyderwheels because they are lighter and thus more consistent fit to the ceramic brakes.
If I find time I'll post some more pics for your judgement.

I'm no fan of the Spyder wheels but I have to admit that looks stunning
Get mine Monday and I promise to post lots of pictures.
If I manage to sleep at all during the next 72hours I'll be very suprised
