Trading in my old Audi S3 - so been a member of the club for a while now.
I just bought a private numberplate online and the dealership is making up the plates.
My Turbo's plate is a variation on '911 Turbo', and the RS6 plate will be a variation of 'V10 Turbo' - same last 3 letter for the 'Turbo' abbreviation.

Enmanuel:
Congrats great car !!! be sure to take it on some twisty roads as soon as you can for some massive amounts of fun. the magnetic suspension on that thing lets you corner like no other sedar(or avant) could even imagine.
Just a little correction... RS6 do not have Magnetic Ride suspension but, so called Dynamic Ride.

Excellent choice, Alex. I would have purchased the RS6 sedan if it were available in the USA. But be sure to do the MTM tune on it-good for 730PS.

NOw spend 4k more and get the ABT kit to take you to 700PS and 800NM I think...
I had an Abt tune on my last S3 and although it was faster than the stock car it certainly wasn't as smooth through the rev band with the power delivery.
So I think 480PS is plenty in a family estate car. If I want to go faster then I just step out into my Porsche

Very good choice, congratulations.
I'm still thinking of getting the RS6 SW when my 997 Turbo lease runs out, replacing the Cayenne Turbo S and my 997 Turbo. Of course I won't stay with the stock power of the RS6, Abt offers 700 HP with full factory warranty (they have some sort of agreement with VW/Audi), so this would be my first choice.
On the other hand, I'm kind of spoiled by the Cayenne Turbo S and the exellent winter driving capabilities with the right winter tires.
Oh well...I wish I always had these kind of "problems".
Btw: I saw two 0-200 kph test results of close to 13 seconds for the Audi RS6, so the 14.1 seconds figure is pretty "conservative".

Thanks. As I say though, I wouldn't do Abt again. I suspect the ECU re-mappings are done on a chassis dyno and not an engine one which is why my S3 Abt didn't have a very linear acceleration through the revs. 680PS is plenty!
I think I saw somewhere a NBR time of 8'09" which isn't too shabby!
Sadly the pickup date has been moved to Thu morning. More pacing in the meantime then!

ABT works VERY closely with VW/Audi on development, so their tuning is actually the most reliable, this is why their tuned cars usually keep the factory warranty. Of course regular tuners can always benefit from the fact that they're not bound to certain "rules" when it comes to the software mapping but I wouldn't really let somebody else do tuning work on my VW/Audi.
