    Ferdie: Thats what I heard, but ofcurse I can be wrong. Maybe more reasons led to this BMW won't continue with V8 diesels. But not only BMW, but everyone will start making smaller and more efficient engines.

    wow,so 3 turbo will be L6 engine not v8? when will be available this monster engine?

    What about the turbo charged V12 with 5xx HP BMW introduces soon on the 7 series? I always thought that THIS is going to be the performance flagship or did I get something wrong?

    I can imagine a 3 turbo equipped V8 monster Diesel with something close to 600 HP on a BMW 7 series but I haven't heard even the slightest rumor about it...yet.

    For individual tastes BMW will offer a V12 , xDrive and an Active Hybrid.
    For sporting tastes and to further cement "Efficient Dynamics" in the luxury class the flagship performance 7er will be a TriTurbo diesel.

    Yes, it will be 354 hp 6-cylinder engine. Don't know that, but according to insider, it will debut in X5 / X6. Then 7er will get this engine, and later new 5er and new 6er eventually.

    In 3 different models. BMW will not be making a V12 with xDrive in SWB. Active Hybrid also will not be paired with xDrive.

    There really isn't any high performance sedan in awd other than the Audi S8, well now we have hte Panamera Turbo, but BMW really is missing the boat on offering a all-season 400+hp sedan.

    I don't know , looks like it will perform better than 750i, if not, they wouldn't call it performance flagship.. 760i V12 doesn't count here, because its threaten as an additional model to the 7er. Thats all I know so far, I hope that soon we will have more detailed informations... Smiley

    BTW: Some people thinks that there are LED lights under black tape, like for example Audi S6 got. They aren't, under that black tape is chrome .

    considering it will be 50hp weaker, but it should also be lighter and maybe "work" better with a gear shifter they chose to use... who knows what will happen!

    Will they use DSG?
