    Tiptronic Toqrque Limit?

    Does anyone know the torque limit which is set for our tiptronic transmissions? and how much torque can they handel without being reinforced? Smiley

    i guess you could add 30% to the torque spec of the carrera s....

    I heard something about 800 Nm but I haven't seen anything official yet.

    Officially, it's around 750-800Nm, but since it's the same box as in a E55 and around the AMG circle, that 5-speed box absolutely cannot be destroyed. Those AMG crowd rountine pump much more than that through the box. It only needs to be reinforce if you get close to 1000Nm, as AMG reinforce the same gearbox for the 65 cars.
