CloseTook these a couple hours after delivery. What an experience this car has been. It's total different to the 997, much more raw. The car sounds great with the muffler bypass pipes installed on the car. The power for a 11 year old car is brutal! I think this is as quick as the F430 4600ft above sea level.
Can't wait to drive this thing more tomorrow!

@Porker: I noticed that when I picked the car up, I'm going back to the dealer to pick up a few items and will have it adjusted for it to sit more flush with the bumper. I just wanted to take delivery already

At high altitudes, turbo'd engines are always stronger than normally aspirated engines. Thin air is the enemy of NA engines. Thin air actually IMPROVES the the efficiency and thermals of a turbo. .

True! Try it at sea level or on a hot day and you will see the dawnfalls of turbocharging!

When at first I read that you had bought a red Turbo S, I thought to myself, it's a pity that it is red...
but now after having seen these photos, I must say, that I'm blown away by its beauty. I have already mentioned quite a lot of times that the 993 series is my favorite 911 generation, and this red one really is something special. It looks so good under the sun!

993 TTS.. classic shape and noise! A friend let me drive his around skidpan here at Eastern Creek once and was huge fun.
Values here in Australia hold up well with bottom end of 996TT now falling below them while 993 holding steady.. 993 series will always be a true enthusiasts pick! (also I suspect a 997 GT3 will turn out to be)
