991 Conv - further Pictures / frame behind rear seat
Yesterday I had a camo 991 ahead of me. I had the chance to drive next to him and to take a deeper look into the car.
The dash was camoflaged, so nothing to see from the instruments. Only thing I was seeing has been the cockpit, which was similar looking to the 997. The rest of the dashboard was hidden by a textile.
Most interesting part was the frame behind the front seat. It looked very solid, had a titanium color. The shape was following the seat lines, means two higher ends behind the seats, flat in between. Much more stable as the frame of a windbreaker, but less stable as a rollbar. Dont know at all what it will be. Car didnt had rear seats from what I've seen.
The Convertible roof was real. The picture doesnt show it but it was not totally even. In between it had some wrinkles, so it is indeed foldable and much smoother as today. You also see it on the picture of the A-pillar, the roof is on top of the frame as it is today.
Acceleration was quit high, but not as strong as the Panamera Turbo I was following with my 535d couple of weeks ago (just from the feeling, didnt measure).
See the pictures yourself!
