Amazing collection.
Can't wait for the V12 Vantage pics.
Do you drive the Vitara sometimes ? With such an amazing garage, I know I wouldn't.

Thank you! The Vitara and Volvo are sentimental. You would get nothing for them if you tried to resale despite the immaculate condition. Plus it's a good reminder to keep trying harder!

The Vitara is the only car Mike is allowed to drive. Rest of the stable is for his girls only...
Hahaha! You wise a$$ I haven't driven the Vitara in about 3 months, I'm going to try give it some TLC this year. Needs some fixing up

Mike - I can barely remember to re-tax and re-insure 2 cars each year - how on earth do you cope with 16/17??
Must be a logistical nightmare and the taxes alone cost you a fortune!! Or is it different in SA?
Hi Alex,
You get used to it is the only explanation I can give you. Logistics as you say is a problem at the moment, but once my new facility for the vehicles is finished being constructed. It will be a breeze! The taxes per year aren't too bad, just the initial purchase price is very very high. Insurance.... no comment LOL! I don't want to ruin my day, let me not think about it

Nice and impressive collection Mike. But what the heck are you doing with that Volvo?
He's allowed to drive that if the Vitara breaks down.
Hahaha! My trusty Vitara will never let me down
Lars, that car has sentimental meaning. It was given to me by my parents, if I sell it I wouldn't be able to even get the equivalent of the Phantom's one rim for it, so there's no point in letting it go.

That make sense, in this case I might keep it, too! BTW - the Vitara I understand, those cars are great workers and if you live in ZA you might want to go sometimes off-road.
