P Cup Swiss Hockenheim
Back from my wk-end in Hockenheim.
Took part on friday to Free practice 1, did 2 laps and decide to go back to boxes. Impossible to keep car on track due to heavy water and of course as i'm racing in a category with Michelin Pilot Cup on wheel 18 and not alloyd to put Wet tires cause this is the reglement, i let you imagine. It was like Holliday on ice with a GT3
Then took part for Free practice 2, same weather conditions but decided to do my all practice time. Was fun to drive but had to be really smooth with the steering wheel.
I really didn't look at my time, i just didn't wanted to brake the car.
Saturday morning time for warm up. Still wet conditions but did first from my category. At midday, the race startet with safety car due to really bad weather conditions. 39 cars on start for 2 laps and then SC went off.
I couldn't see one bit of where i was going to. In the mean time went ok untill coming to the line before The Mercedes Tribune or the Senna Curve and lost the car, one 360, two 360, free 360 then out of the track and in the grass. As i know that in the grass you take speed instead of stopping, i said NO cause i saw the wall coming. The car stop just before. Went back on track and tried to catch my lost position. Been tough but finally finished second from my category and 29th on 40 cars from the race.
As already explaine we are for one race 12 different classes racing together. It goes from Gt3 Cup with rain tires and slicks to boxter, cayman, turbo, 996, etc... with Michelin sport cup. Depending which car you have you will be putt in the more appropriate klasse according to your car.
I for example am in the Klasse 4 c which is GT3 997 with 18 wheel. A GT3 997 with 19 wheel would be in the Klasse 4 b etc...
The best to end my wk-end was this. Come back from the gas station, did a small corner while i was in the paddock, so a guy with a S... BMW, old timmer, going backwords. I stopped my car, hopping the guy would stopp, well no even that i Horn, he come sreight in my front and hit me.
Guy come out of his car but wouldn't admit that he madee a mistake. Decide to call the Police but they say they wont come cause it's a private area. I really started to get so went to the race direction and explain what happen.
Problem still not solve, guy is still refusing to admit his faults and i'll have to see with my lawer to do a procedure or maybe just pay what he broke and let go. This is what we call Fairplay
