Nice...

They did it before, for the RAI autoshow in.. pff, some years ago; it was called the 996 Carrera "R", which was basically an options package. This time, it looks like they went a little bit further than that with a custom paint job and custom (?) black leather. I like it!

And I don't know if it is much more expensive than a normal C4 with PSE and comparable options.

Nevermind Joost, I just saw your link. I never new there was a 996 C2 R, I guess it was only for the Netherlands market. But the ROW was the 996 40th anniversary model with powerkit and polished wheels.

I'm not usually a fan of most special editions but diamond-black metallic sure photographs nicely. It will be interesting to hear how it compares in person to black and basalt, wouldn't be surprised at all if this spurs on some diamond-black paint to sample orders. Smiley
