997.2 Carrera S: Tiff from Fifth Gear review
For those of you that are not in the UK or missed the show this week:

I have emailed my comments on the overall show to Five TV but they probably won't listen so I thought I'd repeat here for good measure...
55 minutes of uninteresting nonsense and boring cars, followed by 5 minutes of Tiff driving the new Porsche 911. And what did he use the 5 minutes for, an economy test...in a Porsche 911!!
Plus we all already knew that ANY Porsche 997 can get to 150 mph on the Millbrook straight - that's easy! I have even done that myself several times in various 997s at Millbrook.
What we all wanted was Tiff thoughts on the new PDK double-clutch gearbox (including launch control), and whether some of the old PASM stability management issues had been resolved in fast cornering. The Alpine circuit and Inner handling track would have been perfect for this.
Instead we got something we didn't want to know, and something we already all knew!
