    Gallardo MY06 in the deep snow

    Got a phone call from a friend tonight...

    Friend : "Hey Max, I just got the Lambo but It's snowing and I've never driven in this situation...can you keep the car untill this weather stops?"

    Me : "Mhmmmmm....really, I don't know....I don't have a lot of space in my garage and the forecast said that the snow will continue 'till next week!"

    Friend : "C'mon Max, you can also drive her if you want, no problem at all!"

    Me : "Ok, give me 25 seconds and I will be at your place!"

    The Lambo on the snow it's amazing, even with summer tyres and some ice here and there. The new motor it's a big improvement compared with the first versione...not just for the gain of 20 hp but also for the adoption of shorter gears!

    As usual, here you can find a little video and some pictures of my first contact with her!

    That first and last picture you took were very nice. Take some more if you can, in high res if possible, I'd love a new desktop!!

    The Gallardo to me now is a true competitor for the F430. There is no other car on the market that offers the street presence of the Gallardo with the performance, everyday usability, passion while also being so versatile and safe all in the one car!
    Lamborghini should be discussed more often in my opinion.

    I personally never considered anything that came out of Italy until I drove a Gallardo - that is one serious car! I fell in love with it instantly! The wife hates Ferrari but loves Lambo's just cos there not Ferrari's : ) heard that before!

    I think I will put in an order within the next 12 months or so......however, I will need to try the 430 before I do anything!

    Yesterday (as promised) I left the car in the garage but today the weather started to be a little better, so we took the lambo for some shot and, off course, some drift!!

    Then we went to Lamborghini Milano to take a look at the cars inside...that's the Gallardo SE chassis N*1!




    That's a very special Roadster...not my taste but this color looks amazing!

    Hahaahaha, Throt, the snow at the end of the first corner was totally unexpected and really close!!

    Artemio, the camera I used it's a Sony DSC T9, very small and with 6.0 MP!

    max ,i tried a 04 gallardo yesterday ,the first gear push to 105kph ,bloody long... ,on the 06 ,with shorter gear ,do you remember the 1st gear speed on cut off?

    Yes for sure, the first gear in the MY06 and in the SE push to 70Km/h, which is more reasonable!

    wow ,thats a hell of a difference..anybody have an idea if the modofication to have shorter gears can be done on a 04,05 gallardo??

    LOL - I think the best thing to do is just buy the car I like and tell her 'surprise' I am sure she will forgive me! As long as it is not red I think she will forgive any car!
