    996 with 19" wheels?

    Been looking at 996 C4s's, turbo bodied. Only thing I dislike visually is the 18" wheels, is it possible to fit Porsche 19" wheels on 996's? ideally Carrera S wheels.

    It's the wrong offset so your only bet is through the aftermarket.

    You can fit aftermarket wheels but Porsche advises against 19'' rims on the 996, especially on Cab versions.

    You might consider puting in a different suspension, such as the Bilstein Pss-9's. This will lower the car and the 18's will look better.

    I just purchased and installed a set of "Carrera S" wheels for Design911. These are 18inch CARRERA TECHNO ALLOYS. Look just like the Porsche 19" wheels. "http://www.design911.co.uk/index.htm?Region=US"

    One of Porsche's best wheel designs so far IMO.. New 997's
    bigger ones look even better with its small changes

    That's probably because most people are not very enamored with the 997 lobster forks. This is also the first time I've seen this combo and I'm out here in LA.

    These are not 19" 997 wheels, They are 18" CARRERA TECHNO ALLOYS wheels from Design911, http://www.design911.co.uk/index.htm?Region=US, they fit fine!

    I like them! I looked at the original at porsche but realized they didn't come in 18.
    Any idea about the weight compared to OE weels?
