    I must ask why did you put this question on Boxster forum?
    There is Ferrari and 997 forums on rennteam and they are better IMO for this kind of question. No hard feelings.
    I am also own Boxster S...

    But overall more a general question for any Porsche or car enthusiast. Just like a previous post on whether Porsche should have changed the looks of the 987 more.

    No problem - I'm a Boxster owner and when my lucky lottery numbers come up a Ferrari F430 is top of the wish list.

    I just ordered my 987s alongside with schemeloong in HK. That to me is already enough of a bank breaker given the high import tax rate for luxury vehicles... it's around 114,000 USD. Now that's costing me my 2 arms and legs and I have just put down my downpayment and finished my first mortgage payment and the car hasn't even arrived (in March)... When I finish paying the baby off in 4-5 years... I might not be able to have any baby myself. BTW, tonight's lottery is on and it's a huge one so may just buy myself one ticket. Seen some spy pix on the 997 TT but no official news on PDK or DSG or tiptronic s and nothing official. Seen the 430 and it is updated and the 360 looks a little dated now.

    jet black 997TT, no questions! besides don't wanna wait 2 half years for brand new one.. Porsche legend lives on, "there's no substitute"

    Not only is there a wait, there is a premium for that wait too - an even higher premium (80-90K) if you don't want to wait....

    I would get a 997TT and with the premium I would be paying in getting a 430 now, I would get a 997C4S for all other types of weather.
