Mine's a C2S but it's an 06 model and yes it is different than an 05.
There is indeed a small plastic air deflector with holes all along the strip.
There is a little bit of turbulence but it's really minimal.
I like the feel you get with open roof and windows, not quite my old 996 cab but pretty good!

While we're on the subject. I made a solid rubber piece aprox 3/4 x 1 x 2 inches (mm?). Put it on a yellow string (to not forget it's there).
I use it to shove between the roof lip and the deflector to keep the deflector DOWN when the sun roof is open. It lessens NOISE considerably (try it with your hand). Of course at certain speeds it gets freaky annoying. But you figure that out and open a window a bit it'll go away.
The absence of the NOISE is worth permanently removing that suckka, like I did on my E46 BMW sunroof.

Hummmmm, that doesn't sound right. Mine gets more comfortable and quieter when holding down the deflector (except at certain specific speeds when it gets that weird buffeting).
You do know the sunroof goes back and then stops and THEN you can press the button AGAIN and it will go back more.
Things should get quieter when you hold the deflector down.
