Porsche Colour Wheel Caps on Rims - A simple option?
I just ordered my standard 987s with the standard 18" wheels but I believe that the wheels come with monochrome porsche logo instead of the colour crest. I see pictures posted by a few including Louis showing rims with Porsche coloured crest. Now my dealer told me that it was an option to get with spraying the rims the same colour as the body but apparently, I noice many rims with the coloured crest with rims in original alloy colours. My car is arctic silver with black top and there is no point spray painting the rims as an option. Is that a small option you can get simply by ordering coloured crest? I think it looks better.
. I would wait till you or a friend travels abroad for example to Dubai where they are 530 dhs or thereabouts which works out to about Pounds90 or HKD 1150. Much cheaper than USD400. You do have to be prepared that they may get stolen from time to time - so they may not stay on long enough for them to be discoloured. But a porsche is a porsche its nice to have the colour crests
