right... i love the (old) GT40 and i think ford did a great job witht he GT. they mailed me an application form for their allocation some days ago which i filled out.
here's a statement from the mail:

Thank you for your continued interest in the Ford GT. We are pleased to announce that we have been able to secure an increase in volume of the cars that will be officially imported into Europe - to 101 from the previously announced 80. This number reflects the quantity of original GT's that were produced by Ford in Europe. However, demand for the Ford GT has been so great that only 1 in 20 of the people that have so far registered with us will be successful in being able to buy one of the officially imported cars. The lucky few will be selected according to a set of criteria intended to match the most deserving and appropriate buyers with this iconic car. The President and COO of Ford of Europe, Lewis Booth, and his most senior executives will approve the final selection.

kind of weird to fill out such a thing for a ford, though.anyway, i think ford is on a good way setting on motor sports and their heritage. the WRC focus is a great car IMO, the GT is great and some recent show cars like the 427 are lovely as well. they should rename the jaguar F1 team to ford and paint it in gulf spec finishing

Ron you should give more credit to the car, I've read it's fantastic apparently.
Saw it at the last Paris motorshow, it looked great.
I think it's a nice car for somehow who also likes exclusivity.
BTW, how's the PSE going? Have it yet?
