    What color will the 997TT launch/debut car be?

    What color do you think the 997TT launch/debut car will be? If I recall correctly the 993TT was that dark red color...the 996TT was Arctic Silver... the 997TT

    Well seeing everything seems to come out silver or black, either or would be a safe bet. IMO... Would be nice to see something funky live olive. Time will tell..

    I'd kinda like to see a yellow one, I've been quite partial to yellow porsche's after seeing pics of W8MM's signal CGT, that and the new RS spyder

    They have a theme of usually either Red,Yellow or GT silver. I say yellow and GT Silver

    Of course. That is almost free to Porsche, yet they can sell it for thousands of dollars

    Let me see: you guys got almost the whole specs from us, almost the accurate HP, a pretty accurate launch date, a pretty accurate press release date, you know at what autoshow you have to look for the 997 Turbo.

    Silver is one of the colours I heard, maybe black too. This is all I have, sorry. Of course other colours are in the game too.

    I will guess several colors, like the Cayman introduced in Frankfurt. The Caymans were cobalt, silver and basalt black. If Porsche features a model on a turntable--like Frankfurt--I would bet on silver.

    BTW, is anyone going to the press days at Geneva? I plan to attend along with another Rennteam pal, and it might be fun to hook up. If interested, please reply.

    I will take pics in any event, and post them and my impressions.

    I agree - we need some new colours. I'm sick of Seal Grey/Slate Grey. Atlas is different (and cool), but too dark. We need a more metallic shade - a bit like Seal but more hardcore with a flake size like GT Silver.
