Hmmm, now we know that there is something wrong here, this guy takes 16 detailed shots of the exterior, but not a single interior shot......

As Agent Mulder used to say Trustno1!

You can find all 16 - exterior - pictures here:
    Carspyshots 911 Turbo

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Interesting! But, look at pic #2, the person who take it was really close to car... So, why he didn't took any interior pics?? Somebody is fooling with us, guys.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

That is one hot looking automobile!

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Thanks a lot for the pics, Kai! And some thoughts on the photos : why there are not any interior pics(AGAIN) , it seems that the photographer could take some pics of the inside, but he didn't... And why are the seats inclined to the dashboard? The exterior of the 997 Turbo looks great, as I've already said, but I think there's still some camo on the front, and I don't mean only the lights...Anyway, nice pics, I just can't wait for the official press release!

Lets hope so , the pics prove to be a bit disappointing ..

    Imo of course..

    throt..

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

I'm starting to like it, and I think I am not the only one..

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

The whole car looks disjointed. Wheels look aftermarketish...exhausts too jarring, doesn't have a shape that is fitting with the rest of the car unlike the 996 TT where the shape of the exhaust pipes echoes the 911 shape. The front LEDs turnsignal and fogs I'll reserve judgement until I see it in the metal (haven't got my hopes up it'll look any good seeing it in person). Overall, it looks a mess...terrible shame that Michael Mauer looks to have fumbled big time with the new design of an iconic car. It'll go like stick no doubt but looks $hit compared to the 993 & 996.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Thanks .... really does look disjointed and so much like a 996TT . What a shame a car with so much performance and little to no attention paid to the cosmetics . Wheels are really a let down also they could have done so much , this car will need after-market help big-time to bring it to life in the looks department .

Agree , wheels are a joke.I mean would a large number put these on there 997S as an aftermarket fit , I dont think so .Also looks do not appear to be aggressive enough in the pics.

    throt..

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Agree with that the wheels doesn't look very good on this one.. I liked it a lot more on the arctic. don't know if the wheels maybe look worse when they're dirty like on this car... ... Are those 20" or is it just the low profile of the tires that are less than on the standard 19"?

I really think the arctic and black colour fit the car a lot better than this one... is it Slate-grey? or Seal maybe?

Also must pick on the orange side-marks and the bumperettes, they really destroy the overall looks and I can't stop starring at those details (sorry for that fellow americans, know that you can't easily get rid of the bumperette) ...

    temm,

That's what I was exactly thinking about; 16 close up exterior pictures and no interior ones .

Porsche must be up to something .

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

^^ they're TOP SECRET testing: iPod integration with AM-modulator on the MOST(less)-bus

    lol.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

I like the wheels-the uneven grooves will work visually. I'll bet more folks will like the wheels when they can be seen live.

Luckily the overall shape of the car is still wicked- hunkered-down-widebody 997-- too bad the details so quirky.

Exhaust trying too hard to mimic F430, unfortunately not nearly as pretty-- but who cares, it's the badass 911 Turbo.
The 996GT2 always looks to me like it's about the inhale whatever's in front of it....same idea, I hope and
I expect the 997TT to have somewhat apocalyptic styling presence like one of those cars out of the original 'Mad Max' movie. It ought to scare the $hit out of Granny when it shows up in her magnified rear-view.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

I really don't like the overall look of it. I actually like the look of the C2S and C4S much better. The wheels and back of the vehicle(997TT) look cheesy IMO. Let's see what it looks like in March.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Love the rear, Hate the rim's, don't hate the side vent or front end but would have like it to look better!

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Looks great, but like others said, the rims are horrible (draws your eyes to them, rather than the whole car), and I'd do without the rear wiper.

I'm still holding out hope they have optional traditional turbo rims.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

I don't know why the rims are drawing such negative comments. I love them!

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

    I don't like the wheels
I don't like the Pontiac front end
And the exhaust sucks along with the rear bumper cover

    Just MHO:)

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

I think it is a combination of thing, the rims, side vents, rear bumper all have multibile lines and seems to be alittle to much together. If traditional turbo rims or even something similar to regular 19' carrera classic rims where used, i feel that it would flow better with the car.

I think all the elements work together as a whole....I can't wait to see the car in the "flesh".

As soon as this baby hits the streets, you guys better run fast to your dealers because supply will be VERY limited in the beginning. We had the same comments about the 996 Turbo back in 1999 when me and Chris Kramer posted the first REAL upclose pictures of two non-camouflaged 996 Turbo (remember, the 996 Turbo came out in June 2000). And after I got my car in June 2000 and after others got their cars, people paid up to 50000 bucks to get one in few months!!! Don't say I didn't warn you...

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

    Thanks for the pictures, Kai.

Does ANYBODY on this planet have interior shots of the 997 Turbo? CURRENT shots? Because I think there is something we aren't supposed to see...or I'm going nuts already.

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

    do not like:

    rims
    rear exhaust treatment
    tail
    lights

Overall not all that impressed, it does not look clean

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

im gonna get the 997 TT and i shall put the Aerokit on it or imagine seeing the GT3s fonrt and rear bumper on it...
    ill keep dreaming now lol

    Re: new 997 TT pics!

Wow people seem to be on pins and needles waiting for the 997TT. Can't wait until it finaly gets here.

    Don't worry RC,

I'm still on every one of my dealer's 997TT deposit lists known to mankind.

Even better than some interior shots, how about some more video, this time of the car entering the Autobahn from a standstill, with INTERIOR shots of the dash showing the speedo. hitting 200mph/320kph-with maybe brief panning down to confirm the tranny -with splits of elapsed time 0-100kph-160kph-200kph-320kph. . . .

That other video clip on another thread taken of the car spinning its wheels in the snow leaving the curb had an eery Vincent Price-esque/Alfred Hitchcock presence about it as the cameraman's crisp steps in the snow as he panned the car pulling away echoed through the audio feed.
