    Oops, I'm sorry too. The file is labled stone grey. Don't know where I got this pic nor who labeled it. Again, sorry for not getting it right.

    I just want people to be happy; trying to help. I have a 986S with black top and it's wrinkled and chafed. Two and a half years of use and "anal" care. I'm telling ya, I almost can't stand looking at that car with the top up, even though it's BLACK (!) it just looks messy!

    Very lousy pictures! I'm sure the photographer would make Heidi Klum look homely too!

    Very lousy looking light-colored top in the so-so pictures.

    SVN, you know how much I wanted that stone grey top....I umm'ed and ahh'ed about it for months...going to and from each and every week. Trust me, that stone grey will look tired and worn very, very quickly.

    I've bought a C4S Cab GT Silver with Black Top. I did after seeing an Artic Silver with a Black top and seeing a lot of feedback not only from regular Rennteam members, but also from a Porsche engineer who lived in Germany and remarked how hard it was to keep the lighter tops looking good.
    I'm very happy with my choice and will have a couple of details to keep the car looking good. One of them is the XRR option, the Carrera Sport Wheel, also in GT Silver with a 17mm spacer in the back wheels and I sprung for the back of the seat painted in GT Silver. With the top down it will look very cool. With the top up, the black roof is a nice contrast, and not really a two toner as someone mentioned. The gray top is a little dull and that would be even more apparent than the black top in terms of contrast.
    Good luck with your new car - whatever you decide to do.
    The grey top would be more in the same family of colors, but it will require more upkeep.

    After seeing the Stone Grey top yesterday, I have NO doubt it'll be great- no problems. The color is much darker ( not at all washed-out looking, but deep and rich) than I thought from the pictures I've seen ( thanks MMD ). If it was as light as the old Graphite Grey, I'd be concerned but it is a shade or two darker- just perfect, IMO. I was very happy ( and yes, relieved) to see how great it looked. It really is personal preference- whatever looks best to you- go for it.

    Good luck with your Baby- should be getting close!
