Racechip has just released a chiptune for the new Panamera 4S diesel. I know, not in the same league as ABT, impact on warranty etc, but still they've been in the business for quite a while. At least it gives some indication that this engine is quite easy to tune.
Panamera 4S Diesel tuned with Racechip: 505hp/1037nm
More info here (in german)
Milanno:RC, do you expect similar tuning kit for Panamera S Diesel? With ABT kit that engine is delivering almost 1000 Nm of torque
970 Nm...(from 900 Nm). As far as I know, the SQ7 gearbox is "good" for 1000 Nm, so it is perfect.

Hi and Merry Christmas to everyone at Rennteam!
Been reading this forum for quite long time and I can say it is the cleanest and most informative forum that I have read ever!
At the moment I am thinking ordering new Panamera 4S Diesel, but I haven't decided which colour to choose. I have been thinking about Volcano grey or new colour Crayon. What is your opinion regarding these colours and which colour you choose?
Thanks to all!

I would go with the darker colour for a car this size.

Crayon (Kreide) is an amazing color for the Panamera (similar to Audi's Suzuka grey, maybe a tiny bit more greyish). My dealer has a car in this color with black wheels and black window frames/etc. and it really looks great and very special. If someone is looking for a more elegant color, a darker tone would be more suitable.

The farmer:911tts:Thanks Farmer! Btw which interior colour you have choosen? I think I will go with black/crayon.
Black/saddle brow I'll let the Panamera be my library and the GT3 my gym so to speak....
Black saddle brown is exactly the color inside my Cayenne Turbo S !!

The farmer:Well Nick, I'm not surprised, you have exquisite taste And as you know, my GT3 (with brand new engine) is..... of course BLACK
Just like the original Ford Model-T: You can have any color you want, as long as it's Black

I have seen that Audi gray a number of times and really like it; I think it would translate well to this car.

So finally I have changed 4S Diesel to 4S Petrol. I have make a test drive with both cars and petrol version sound made a magic on me
For speed limited countries, I would stick with the Diesel, especially from a fuel consumption point of view (huge difference to the fuel operated car!).

I have seen this Saturday the new Panamera Sport-Turismo - what a great car. The car looks stunning from behind - front is the same.
Regarding diesel - I have tried it and I was not so fascinated as many other - nice torque and nothing more. I would go for petrol.
AM
sfo:isn't the 4S diesel a V8 bi turbo diesel?
Yes but consumption is really OK.
My wife's Cayenne S Diesel consumption is now around 10.5 liters / 100 km in the city, while her Macan Turbo was always over 14 l / 100 km. Cayenne GTS (V8 petrol engine) was even worse...16-17 liters / 100 km.
