    996 Turbo Suspension Upgrade...Suggestions? :-)

    Hello,

    I am looking to upgrade the suspension of our 996 Turbo S Cab. I have been looking at some coilover options. What do you all think of the H&R and Bilstein (PSS-9) setups for the 996 Turbo? Any other suggestions? I'd love to hear any personal experience stories also.

    This is indeed the best option available.

    With x73 the car can still be sold as "original" later. I would be willing to pay the slight premium (if any??) over competing products just for that reason. In addition, the x73 setup is really sporty.

    Guys,

    Thanks for the input do any of you have experience with aftermarket kits such as H&R compared to the X73? I am not necessarily concerned with factory originality (can always return it to that later) as much as I am concerned with performance. I am looking for a very quantifiable difference in performance here as everyone who drives this car is a track racer and not concerned with a supremely comfortable ride. I do not want a 10/10ths suspension, but am looking for something much, much sportier than what the stock junk offers.

    I have the H&R set-up on my turbo with 19's
    I like it much better than stock, no problems at all
    If you are going to keep the car for atleast 2 years change the wheels and tires, great with the springs

    I have the FVD version of the PSS9s (essentially the Euro version). They are fantastic. Way better than stock. I highly recommend them! Of course I did not buy my car to sell it...I bought it to drive it!
