    Limited Edition Boxster - 550 Model

    RC and others - any word on this? Sounds interesting, and possibly a nice advertising campaign could sell a few more 04 Boxsters before the 987 arrives for MY05.

    Details as follows on the special edition 550, Porsche will only build 1953 of these cars world wide.

    266 bhp
    Silver callipers
    Stainless steel exhaust pipes
    Quick shift gearshift (shorter through)
    Exclusive gearshift
    10mm reduced suspension
    18" carrera wheels
    GT silver exclusive colour
    Black hood
    Natural grey leather full
    Heated seats
    Gt silver back rests

    Pounds43500

    This represents 12% saving on standard spec, the car will be available from early 2004.

    Silvershadow, if you can wait, personally I'd hold for the 987, even more power and features. You know what they say, you can wait forever to get the next newer/best model. At some point you need to put a stake in the ground and get the stinkin' car (and drive it!)

    The 550 Limited Edition sounds nice, especially if the price is reasonable. Certainly better than the silly Boxster "James Dean" edition sold in Austrialia or somewhere.

    RC, glad to hear this was pretty much validated by you.

    Hmmm ....

    this infos late me hope, that next year not only the 997 comes.

    But it is realy possible that porsche will lunch 987 and 997 at the same time....?
