    Cayman now on Porsche Configurator

    Now avail on the website, and as suspected it looks the best in Basalt with 19'' classics.

    Enjoy, but you won't get much change from Pounds50k

    go to porsche uk then build your porsche you`ll find Cayman S. You can only see the main Cayman S config page nothing else..

    Hmmm. No mention of TPMS.

    And I like the look of the 'Lightning System' (Under safety)
    Is that for zapping people that get in your way?

    TPMS is under the wheel accessories option just under where you specify coloured crests.

    Pounds430 odd quid for the UK

    You're absolutely right. There it is. I was looking under Safety. Duh!

    Still not an option on the Boxster configurator though.

    Why is it that the boxster S comes with partial elather as std (in the UK) and the Cayman S doesn't (according to the configurator)? I was under the impression that leather would be std as in the 997S. Can anyone shed any light on this?
    BTW specced a Cayman S this morning it cost Pounds54k (w/o PASM or PCCB, but pretty much everythin else) - little bit out of my price range...

    In the US the Boxster and Cayman come standard with "partial leather". I had also heard that full leather might be standard on the Cayman S but it was not to be.

    I believe that partial leather is standard in the UK too.
    At least it was when I ordered my car, but I changed it later to full leather.

    Partial leather is in included in the UK

    If you go through the configurator and print out the spec sheet in the summary it shows that "seats finished in partial leather" are standard.
    Which makes it odd that they are also listed in the configurator as a 729 GBP option!
