I was doing 180 km/h (approx. 112 mph) when I saw some debris on the road.
Pitch black, just after midnight.
I started to slow down to about 80 km/h (approx. 50 mph) when I suddenly saw the object lying in the middle of the road. I tried to avoid the collision but still the right front of the car touched the damn thing. The object went airborne hitting the windshield (I need to replace that too because it is scratched - the tire has some metal wiring going through it). After the crash I stopped about 22 km (approx. 14 miles) down the road at a gas station and I saw the disaster. I couldn't stop earlier because I was trying to find an area with some light. I came back later and I found that it was a blown up tire from a big truck. Left in the middle of the road. Damn !

I can't imagine how critical situation that was!!!
But well the important thing is that you are ok, and looks like the 997S didn't had major damages, besides going in those speeds!!... In less than a day or two, your baby will be back on the roads as nothing happened!!!

New parts: windshield, front right rim and tire, front bumper, front right fender, air con and oil front right radiator plus the fan, all the signal and fog lights from the right part of the car, etc.
Also on the low right part of the car there is some work to do. See 1824.

Thank you guys, I am feeling better now !
Indeed it is better to hit an object than a person.
I posted the pictures because unfortunately I am driving too fast sometime and I hope at least some of you will slow down seeing what a tire hit at 80 km/h (approx. 50 mph) can do.
I did 275 km/h (approx. 171 mph) on public roads and now I don't go more than 200 km/h (approx. 125 mph). Still I think it's too much.
