Nice photo report though. Thanks for sharing.

Would have been nice to see the M5 against the 996TT, 997, 993TT and Gallardo on a track instead of just a simple dragrace.
Power is nothing without control, and my bet is that the heavy Beemer would have to use all its 250 computers, chips and electronics to keep up with the sportscars on a track.
And apart from the racing aspect, it would have been nice to see how the M5 behaved on a track.

0-60 should be around 4.5 sec. There shouldn't be much difference between the M5 and E55 0-60. It would really depend on the driver. In fact, I don't think there would be a lot of acceleration difference until speeds got pretty high.

A friend of mine and myself will shortly do a comparison of the M5 with a standard 996TT x50. I will post results afterwards. However, I would be surprised if the TT would not be quicker than the M5. But lets wait and see. We will post results as soon as we have them.
