God, I just looove the looks of this car, and have been following it from its inception. I'm not sure that when I decide to get out of my 996TT, probably in another year or so, that this car would have the power to satisfy me. I know people have speculated that Aston might do a more powerful one, maybe SC'ing, but it seems that would just eat into their higher end car market.
Whatever the case, you certainly won't see yourself coming or going if you've got one of these puppies.

The pictures look like they are from the reception area of the Aston Martin factory at Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Consider the possibility that they painted the car to match the receptionist's hair.

See my post on the other AMV8 thread-I'm hoping for an AMV8 Supercharged (as Betz has alluded to in press releases) Vantage Volante.
I plan to keep my 996TT (TSCab), add a 997TT (maybe also a TSCab), then if they get around to making an AMV8 Vantage-SC-Volante, get one of those. In the meantime, I plan to go to the Toronto, Ontario (Canada) official unveiling of the AMV8 on October 22. I'm from just down the Thruway from Buffalo (Rochester).

That was my initial thought when I saw the DB9 (especially the Volante) come out, but I hear AM really worked on making the AMV8 more sporty with tighter handling (the DB9 tips the scales a bit, so centrifugal forces are greater with greater angular acceleration-and tougher cornering). And if they do supercharge it, it could be a quick one to boot.
I plan to see the AMV8 in the flesh October 22 (North American "official" unveiling), and probably test drive a DB9 and AMV8 in Florida this winter.BTW, is it too late to change your travel plans to Geneva, Switzerland in early March? Something about a new car Porsche is unveiling there. . . .

I indeed purchased my 996TSCab from Holtz. I have bought BMW's and Audi's from them, as well, so I have a relationship with them. It's obviously hard to generalize, but they have been good to me (and I've been good to them!).
I go to Naples, Florida in the winter at least once a year, and plan to do this again this January.
