"06 Arrived - link to pics

Great site here folks. I have been able to gather a lot of information over time here. A while back I posted and said I would put up images when I could so there are some shots at the site below.

I agree, the 19" is my favorite Cayenne wheel. It looks great.

Great color too! Thanks for sharing.

I have been looking at your photos and I don't see that much has changed for 2006.

I see that the pockets on the backs of the front seats are different. The top edge of the pocket was smooth and flat before. Anything else?

The key now has independent buttons for lock and un-lock, the CD can play MP3's, the dark wood package has the option to include the shift knob as well (before it was a separate option). I am not sure if the logo on the rear door was always blacked out but it is on the '06.

Otherwise I don't think there are too many changes.

Thanks everryone again. I am sure I'll post more as I learn about the vehicle and experience it firsthand.

Congrats.

The Cayenne Logo is black on the base models and is 'metallic colored' on the S and TT....

Can we see a pic of the new key by any chance? I never did like the 'one button for all' function which my TT has.

The pockets on the back of the front seats on my '05 look exactly the same, so maybe they were changed for late '05.

I think the two buttons on the driver's door, the one to open the rear hatch and the gas tank door were removed as well, now all you need is to have the car unlock to gain access to either one.

I also like the rims and Lapis Blue looks great on the Cayenne.

I like the segregation of the lock and unlock, it gives a better assurance when you activate the respective buttons.

Can existing owners using the older key 'upgrade' to the newer key at a low cost?
