    Cayenne Facelift on GermanCarFans

    The GermanCarFans website has a feature today on the upcoming Cayenne facelift. (LINK) Some of the photos are repeats of ones we've seen previously here on Rennteam but there are others I had not seen before. The text says the Cayenne V6 will be a version of the new narrow angle 280 hp VR6 in the new Passant.

    Isn't that the same fake front-end treatment that has been on the 997 Turbo spyshots?

    well i mean there's obviously some camo on the headlights & front end...so its kinda hard to judge the looks right now.

    The camo even covers the tops of the front fenders. I guess something must be going on there. Maybe a sharper, more angular crease at the top of the fender with a flatter slope back in to the hood cutline?

    I would like to take credit for it but it was my Porsche sales mgr. that pointed it out to me. And the more I look at it, I think he's right. If you look at the headlights, and what appears like it will be the eventual shape of the upper curve of the headlight module, it does seem to come to a point, of sorts, that is right in line with that fender crease we're talking about. It would be like a line of tension tugging the headlight upward. Maybe.

    I like it, looks more aggresive than the orignial Cayenne

    I hope that this is heavily camo'd, because there's basically nothing about it that I like better than the "old" style. I'd hate to be an auto designer trying to please a bunch of opinionated SOBs like us.

    I think it will be a hit, as long as its more aggressive than the current one. I wish my CT was more aggressive looking.

    From what I'm seeing the mirrors have turn signals on them. The appear to be smoked out looking.

    Fenders do appear to peak up from the camo.

    On the front end, it seems to have the turn signals or parking lights integrated into the brake vent areas.

    It also appears to be wider? Those stock 18" turbo wheels do not do justice in the rear fenders. It could be the angle of the picture.

    I really like the shape of those front lights! very agressive, I hope its not just camo though since the top part looks like it is.
