    Good News for E55/SL55/S55/CL55 AMG Owners

    Details for the new Model Year have been officially announced:
    1. no change in power!
    2. no 7G automatic tranny
    3. E55 Estate available (same specs as E55)
    4. Linguatronic available (certain markets only)
    5. rear compartment TFT monitor available for COMAND APS (certain markets only)
    6. SBC brake system with SBC Hold/Stop assistant

    As far as I heard, an upgrade is possible at AMG in Affalterbach directly only.
    Reason: it involves more than a simple software upgrade.
    Sorry I don't have better news.

    Updated Info: it seems that I was wrong, AMG does not do (yet?) any SBC upgrades because the SBC is actually a Mercedes responsibility and doesn't make part of AMG development.
    So you'd need to contact DC directly and/or your dealer. Sorry.
