    Did BMW's Advanced Driving Course

    Hi guys,

    Today I went to go do BWM's Advanced Driving course, it was a ton of fun!! Highly recommended for those of you who live in SA

    howzit mike! is it in kyalami? how much did u pay for the cause ?

    i was doing a full cause at silverstone for a race lisence

    Instructor showing us how he "drives" the M3 around the track

    That was the end of the day, very very enjoyable - to sum up everything what we did in short. On the skid pan, they just showed you how to correct oversteer/understeer on front/rear wheel drive cars. What huge differences the ABS and stability programs on the car makes etc. etc. At the end of the day the instructor took us for 2 hot laps around the track and he got the car into a NIIIICE drift around the one bend which I wish I had taken a video of(camera's battery went flat ) To some it up, it is really well worth it, one doesn't realise how long an average car takes to stop from 160kph until you're viewing it from the outside. Great fun too!

    ooh looks like fine bazza! yes it is at kyalami racetrack, for the m3 course it costs around R4,500 but well worth it!

    i already bought ticket for the first a1 grand prix (brands hatch circuit) ,ticket only cost Pounds49 which is inculding seat and Raceday GP Paddock & Pit Pass much cheaper then formula 1
