Smiley I actually like the Senna but...again...for road usage, kind of "too much".

I think that the Porsche 918 has the perfect visual appearance, both for the track and road usage.

I also like the GT3 and the Touring and the older RS models but the 992 GT3 RS is a bit too much for me. Smiley It looks amazing though, no doubt.

So apparently Porsche is having problems with the “carbon bits” on the GT3 RS and production is massively backed up. Net result is they are upping GT3 production in the interim. Anyone have further details?

All I can say is my order confirmed on March 29 with an expected completion date of July 7 and per My Porsche will enter production around June 23. I’ll ask my dealer when I’m there later today.

This is what it looked like on the car I drove at the PEC in Hockenheim. Currently there are two service bulletins for the wing, one software related and one hardware related.

Some more pics I took at the PEC in Hockenheim. I drove the Icegrey Metallic car with the blue anodized wheels. Although I never really like the black/orange livery on the 997 GT3RS Mk1 I love it on the 992.
I booked the Pilot Advanced course to be able to drive the car for about 45 mins on the track within the PEC. Although you cannot push the car to the absolute limit I pushed the instructor so hard in his 991.2 GT3RS he almost spun into the armco, luckily the PSM saved him.
What amazed me the most is the insane braking traction the RS has, you can absolutely brake as late as you dare, the wide front tires, the anti-dive and the airbrake working its magic. The car feels very light, agile and precise, it feels much smaller than it looks. The car was equipped with Goodyear tires. Once I got rid of the pickup they felt pretty good and did not get greasy despite the number of corners in a short succession.
Engine wise more of the same. I did not change the settings which with the benefit of hindsight I should have tried.
All the cars were equipped with the WP and PCCB.
I had big fun with the car, it surely is made for the track and surely is a monster in high speed corners if you have the balls to throw such an expensive car around.
I can't make a judgement how it would feel on the road in terms of harshness, it surely will look the part.

There seems to be a stop to the deliveries of the GT3 RS to customers , at least in certain markets like Germany and Switzerland, do to with the questioning of the legality or not of the back wing.

Anyone has more infos ?

Delivered cars are now in a ''grey'' area.

I really hope it can be solved quickly. Think the problem comes from that fact that the wing is higher then the roof.

Strange that it only comes up now.

Gercollector (Michi) received his GT3 RS last week...

I think it is more of a factory -> dealership issue right now, not sure yet.

Car can't be sold without European Certificate of Conformity, of course, it doesn't apply in Switzerland as it is outside the EU.

Nothing can get a traffic plate number in Europe without this paper being validated. Cars are driving in France so this subject is just noise for no reason, at least within EU.

OK, problem is not a big issue.

There is some sort of "safety ring" missing on some cars on the rear wing and the dealer needs to do some checking.

If the safety ring is there, cars will be delivered to customers.

This is just a short information I received...
