    Thanks robbo ..

    Its just I cant seem to choose at the moment was going to have stone grey but it looks too loud for me ..

    Mrs wanted the seal grey but I have ended up going for the GT Silver , have to get down there to see some in the flesh , colours can be very deceiving in the pics..

    does any one know if you can have colored caliper on a basic 997?

    yes im almost certain you can ,if not you can paint them yourself

    robbo, clearly you have young ones, i can see the teddy bear on the back seat! and ppl were argueing that the backseats aren't useful!

    por911: as far as i know all normal brakes come with red calipers and the PCCB comes with yellow calipers..

    POR911 i m almost certain you can have red calipers on base 997.

    I would of ordered them cuz i adore them but my dealer did not understand what i wanted and thought i wanted the S brakes to a standard 997,so he said its not possible.

    But you can request in your order to have factory painted calipers on your 997 base from your order sheet.

    Only thing is that, by the time my dealer understood that i wanted the base's brake calipers, painted red,and not the S brakes in a base model, my car was at final production stage and could not be "added".


    Thing is that if you retro paint them they might develop problems with their color under heavy breaking=high temp.


    i m still searching how to do that without destoying my car
